The 2nd annual Peggy Sue's "Rod's and Golf Classic" is open to everyone. This year will be held at the Bennett Valley Golf Course. Just minutes from our Host Hotel the Flamingo Resort and located in the same park as our Friday night Chili/Pasta Cook-off & Beer & Wine Tasting. The cost is $85.00 per player, which includes Golf Cart, Coffee & Pastries before Tee Time, Contest, Prizes & Awards and BBQ Lunch Award Reception, Tee Times start at 9:30 a.m. Friday June 12th. Coffee and pastries served before your game starts. Bennett Valley Golf Course is an 18-hole regulation length golf course in Santa Rosa, California. This medium-length layout has 3 sets of tee boxes for a fun, but challenging golfing experience. This course's greens are medium speed. The terrain is not that hilly, so it is easy to walk. Water hazards (a creek) come into play on four holes. The fairways are open, creating a somewhat forgiving playing environment. The signature hole is #2, a 441-yard, par 4, requiring shots up a fairway, which slopes in the direction of the creek that protects the entire left side.I like to play this course, I am not a good golfer but sometimes get to play with people that are and we all have a great time here.
